Randy Nichols has been a police officer since 1995. He holds black belts in W.Hock Hoccheim's Scientific Street Fighting and Archipelago Combatives, and also Kombatan Arnis under Grandmaster Ernesto Presas. He also earned a black belt in Modern Arnis under Grandmaster Remy Presas. He is certified to teach W. Hock Hochheim's Knife Fighter Program, currently ranked at Level 7. He has also earned Level 4 in the Gun / Counter Gun Course.
In addition to the ranks held, he has attended numerous seminars and workshops for various other arts that have given him insight into what techniques will actually work in a given situation. Some of the other arts that he has trained in (but does not hold any rank) are: Wing Chun, Capeoira, Kali, Silat, Grappling, Bando, Aikido, Tae Kwon Do, Lameco, Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and Small Circle JuJitsu.
