The Armbar from a punch

This technique is one example of what you can do against a punch and it directly flows from the "Hubad" drill. It's a basic armbar, with a follow takedown.

1.

Deanna throws a punch which is parried with Randy's left hand.
2.

Randy then uses his right hand and grabs Deanna's wrist. Randy's left forearm pushes against the back of Deanna's arm about an inch above the elbow.
3.

Randy uses the bone edge of his forearm bone to push against the tricep muscles while pulling on Deanna's wrist. This causes pain and makes the attacker want to bend over.
4.

If the attacker is much stronger than you they may try bending their arm. If they do that then go with it, bending the arm up, but keeping your left hand inside their elbow (to make sure it goes where you want it to).
5.

You can then use your right elbow and strike the attackers face and continue pushing through which will cause the attacker to fall to the ground.
